A beautiful old hotel with lovely staff. Cozy and good room and satisfactory breakfast. Excellent location in the center of town. Close to the main harbor in town and the airport shuttle and restaurants, supermarket and other amenities. Such great experience there.

The hotel was lovely old, I really enjoyed it, especially city view. The staff was amicable and kind, offered excellent services. The location was central, absolutely perfect to everything form here.

It felt like we were truly a part of something special.

While some may find it charming, we personally found the shared bathroom arrangement to be a slight inconvenience. However, we understand that others might not mind it at all.

Spotless hotel in a nice building close enough to restaurants, supermarket and other amenities and the center of isafjordur and downtown. Comfy beds, marvellous and super location to the airport shuttle on time. Again, walking distance to Hornstrandir Nature Reserve. Great stay in a quaint town beyond the fjords🙂

Our stay at Guesthouse Isafjordur - Gamla was fantastic. The beds were so comfortable and the bathrooms were impeccably clean.
